Bread Butter Pudding

Bahan-bahan:
- 200 g Mentega Anchor--> untuk merendam roti tawar
- 12 lembar roti tawar-->buang kulitnya/beli yg sudah tidak berkulit
- 75g Sun Maid Raisins --> rendam dulu yah di air hangat
- 3-4 butir telur
- 300 ml whipping cream -->aku pakai merk Rich
- 300 ml susu cair --> aku pakai susu cair UHT ultra
- 1/2 sdt vanilli jerman bubuk
- 130 g gula pasir/gula kastor-->kadar manisnya sesuai selera yah..:-)
- 100 g kenari cincang yg sudah disangrai


cara membuat :
1. cairkan butter, jgn sampai mendidih yah.lumuri roti tawar yg sudah dibagi menjadi 2 bagian bentuk segitiga.susun diatas loyang tahan panas/alumunium sekali pakai.
2.aduk susu cair, whipping cream,telur, vanilli jerman, gula kastor dengan whisk sampai rata kemudian saring
3.tuang adonan susu keatas roti tawar menggunakan sendok sayur pelan-pelan agar roti tawar tidak berubah posisi
4.selipkan raisins diantara 2 buah lapisan roti tawar, dan jangan taburkan raisins diatas permukaan roti agar tidak hangus ketika dioven
5.Taburkan diatasnya kenari cincang yg sudah disangrai/dipanggang
6.Panggang sekitar 15 menit dengan ditutup alumunium foil pada permukaan loyang
7.Keluarkan loyang dari oven dan buka alumunium foil penutupnya dan oven kembali 15 menit
8.Angkat dan sajikan selagi hangat.

resep aslinya:

Ingredients (serves 6)
• 50g unsalted butter
• 12 slices white bread
• 50g sultanas
• 4 eggs, plus 4 egg yolks
• 175g caster sugar
• 300ml thin cream
• 300ml thickened cream
• 1 vanilla pod, split, seeds scraped
• 3 tbs thin-cut marmalade
Method
1. Lightly butter a 2-litre baking dish. Butter the bread, remove the crusts, then cut each slice into 2 triangles. Arrange triangles in layers in the dish, then sprinkle the sultanas in between layers. Don't put any sultanas on the top layer as they will burn.
2. Whisk together the eggs, egg yolks and caster sugar. Place both creams in a saucepan with the vanilla pod and seeds and bring to scalding point. Pour cream over the egg mixture and whisk lightly to combine. Strain mixture over bread slices, making sure not to dislodge them. Set pudding aside for at least 30 minutes - this ensures that the pudding will be light and not stodgy.
Aduk dengan whisk telur utuh, kuning telur dan gula kastor.Campur susu dan krim dan vanilla diatas panci. Tuang campuran susu dank rim ke adonan telur dan aduk kembali dengan whisk hingga merata.Tuang campuran adonan diatas roti, jangan sampai tumpah.
3. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
4. Place the baking dish in a large roasting pan and pour enough boiling water into the pan to come halfway up the sides of the baking dish.
5. Cover the dish loosely with foil, place in the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake the pudding uncovered for a further 15 minutes or until golden
6. Heat the marmalade in the microwave for about 40 seconds or in a small saucepan over low heat for 1-2 minutes until spreadable. Remove pudding from oven and use a pastry brush to spread marmalade over top. Return to oven for 2-3 minutes, then serve immediately.
